Do you know who Gene Simmons is? Of course you do, but do you know him well enough to want to tune in to his show Gene Simmons Family Jewels on A&E?
This was exactly the question prior to the premiere of season one. The objective was simple: give viewers a side of Gene that they would not otherwise see to entice them to tune in. The answer: Ask Gene.
The unit, which features over 45 videos, give users the opportunity to interview the rock God himself. To get them started we pre-populated the unit with fifteen questions across three categories. Dragging a question to Gene triggers an appropriate response.
But true to the name Ask Gene, we also included a field that allowed users to ask their own questions. Doing so triggered a response that was drawn from a database of more than 45 videos and was driven by key word association. So go ahead and ask Gene anything. It isn't every day that the average Joe gets to interview a rock legend!
